December was such a special month for us.
The children loved free painting their own Christmas pictures using a variety of festive materials. We set out lots of different textures and colours and let their creativity lead the way, every piece was completely unique.
Alongside this, we made Christmas cards for our families and also created extra cards to deliver to members of our local community. It was such a lovely way to talk about kindness and thinking of others.
We visited the church where we spoke about the Christmas story and enjoyed spending time in a different envrionment together. We even had a very exciting visit from Father Christmas, which brought lots of smiles (and a few wide-eyed moments!).
Our children’s Christmas part ay the local play centre was another highlight. It was wonderful to see everyone laughing, playing and celebrating together.
To round off the term, the staff enjoyed a buffer from Bella’s Bakes. A gorgeous small business we absolutely love to support. It felt like the perfect way to celebrate a busy, magical month together.
