May was another exciting month at Daisy Chains Nursery!
Our children enjoyed a fascinating visit from ZooLab, where they had the opportunity to meet and even hold a variety of amazing creatures, including a giant African land snail, a giant centipede, a Madagascan hissing cockroach and a snake. We also had the chance to see a beautiful tarantula up close, providing an exciting hands-on learning experience.
We were delighted to welcome the Healthy Families Team, who invited us to take part in their new promotional video showcasing how nurseries support children and their families through the Brush Bus scheme, helping to promote good oral health from an early age.
To celebrate Father’s Day, the children enjoyed decorating “Breakfast on the Go” bags, creating thoughtful gifts to surprise the special people in their lives.
As temperatures soared during the heatwave, we kept cool by enjoying refreshing morning water play in the shade, ensuring the children could have lots of fun while staying safe in the warm weather.
We also caught the football fever as we began cheering on England during the 2026 World Cup, with football-themed activities helping the children learn about teamwork, determination and supporting others.
