Baby Bunnies Room

Our Baby Bunnies Room provides a calm, nurturing environment where the youngest children can feel safe, secure and loved.

The room features soft lighting, natural tones and cosy areas with rugs and cushions. Baby Bunnies in located in our conservatory. The room is filled with an abundance of natural light and the babies love to watch the other children playing outside.


There are floor toys for the babies laid out on a large, soft rug, a cosy area with sensory materials, treasure baskets and mirrors. A small wicker chair is provided to create a comfortable environment for the bottle-feeding babies, or for the breast feeding mothers.

Our highly trained staff build strong, trusted bonds with each baby. Through responsive care, gentle interaction and lots of cuddles practitioners support babies emotional security and sense of belonging.

With a strong focus on communication and attachment, every experience in our Baby Room is designed to help babies feel safe, loved and ready to take their next steps in learning and development.

Tiny Tigers

Our Tiny Tigers Room is a bright, welcoming space thoughtfully designed to support children as they take their first steps towards independence. The environment is calm, nurturing, and filled with opportunities. for exploration, creativity and discovery.

Low level furniture and open shelving allow little ones to access toys and resources independently, encouraging choice and confidence. The room features cosy reading corners with soft furnishings, mirrors for self recognition, and sensory play areas that curiosity and hands-on learning.

A variety of age appropriate activities are available throughout the day – from messy play and small world exploration to music, movement and early mark-making. Natural light , neutral tones, and gentle decor create a homely atmosphere that helps children feel safe and secure.

Staff provide warm, consistent care, supporting early communication, social interaction and physical development through play and gentle routines. Outdoor access encourages active play and fresh air adventures.

Bouncing Bears

Bouncing Bears is a lively, engaging space where curiosity and independence truly begin to shine. Designed specifically for young explorers, the environment supports children as they develop confidence, communication and social skills through play discovery and gentle routines.

Bouncing Bears has a soft play set to encourage children to take part in ‘risky play’ and develop their gross motor skills whilst indoors. Children often start toilet training in this room, it has its own toilet cubicle with a child sized toilets sink.

Practitioners plan rich learning opportunities around children’s interests, supporting early language, problem solving and physical development. Messy play, sensory exploration and outdoor adventures are part of the daily routine, helping children to build confidence and coordination.

Our experienced team provides gentle guidance, encouraging self- help skills such as hand washing, feeding and tidying up- helping children build independence in a supportive and nurturing way.

Bouncing Bears room is a joyful, stimulating space where every child is valued as an individual and encourage to learn, grow and express themselves with confidence.

The Preppies and Pre-School Room

It’s time to get ‘School Ready’! This room is all about helping your little one’s become independent, curious, inquisitive big one’s ready to start primary school. In pre-school children are able to access all areas of play freely, during continuous provision, as we believe that this helps children to develop in independence and self-confidence, as well as offering time for children to consolidate their learning.

The environment is carefully organised to promote choice and creativity with clearly defined areas for role play, construction mark making, maths, literacy and investigation. Children are encouraged to follow their interests, ask questions and explore ideas at their own pace, supported by experienced practitioners who extend their thinking and learning.

A balance of adult-led and child-initiated activities helps children develop key early skills in communication, problem solving and cooperation.

Outdoor play is an essential part of the day, giving children opportunities to climb, run, explore nature and take on new challenges with growing confidence. Inside, a calm cosy corner offers space for quiet reflection and emotional regulation, supporting wellbeing and self awareness. This is supported by our work with the mini minds programme.

Practitioners promote independence through everyday tasks such as self-serving snacks, dressing for outdoor play and tidying up- helping children gain pride in their achievements and confidence in their abilities.

Our Pre-School Room is a place where every child is encouraged to imagine, create and grow into a capable, confident learner – ready to take their next steps into school and beyond.
