Hello March 2026

|

March has been a wonderfully busy and enriching month across our nursery, filled with celebrations, learning experiences, and opportunities for families to join us in our setting.

We began the month by welcoming our Babies and Tigers families to a special Parents’ Stay and Play session, where they joined one of our Shake, Rattle and Roll sessions with John. It was a lovely opportunity for parents to experience the joy of music and movement alongside their children.

We celebrated World Book Day with enthusiasm across all rooms, encouraging a love of stories, imagination, and early literacy.

We were delighted to welcome Leonie back to teach our Preschool children Spanish, supporting their early exposure to language and cultural learning.

We also helped to host Bolton’s Big Real Event at the library, supporting families and engaging with the wider community.

Our Bears and Preschool rooms hosted a Stay and Play session focused on literacy, highlighting how books can be used creatively to develop children’s early reading and communication skills.

Children enjoyed celebrating St Patrick’s Day, followed by a special Parents’ Evening where we showcased the learning journey and opportunities available for our upcoming Preschool children.

We had a unique wellbeing experience as we attended a sound bath session, which inspired us to begin introducing elements of this calming practice with the children.

We also welcomed Jen from Melody Makers, who has started delivering engaging music sessions with our Preschool children, helping to support rhythm, listening skills, and self-expression.

Throughout the month, we celebrated a range of cultural and community events including Ramadan and Eid, as well as Red Nose Day, encouraging kindness, awareness, and inclusivity.

To end the month, we visited the church for a special Easter experience, where the children explored the story and traditions linked to this time of year.

March has been full of memorable experiences, meaningful learning, and strong partnerships with families and the wider community.
